What is Overland Flores?

Overland Flores is a land tour designed to explore Flores Island thoroughly, deeply, and authentically. This journey is not merely about moving from one tourist spot to another, but an adventure to experience the life, culture, nature, and history of Flores up close.

During the Overland Flores trip, you take a land route across mountains, valleys, forests, and coastlines. You are invited to explore traditional villages that still maintain local wisdom, such as Wae Rebo Village in the mountains with its iconic cone-shaped traditional houses and magical atmosphere.

This journey also lets you enjoy pristine Flores nature: Nuca Molas with savanna against the blue sea, spider web rice fields (Lingko), and the panorama of Mount Inerie. You also meet community life at Bena Traditional House, visit Kelimutu’s three-colored lakes, and trace history at Bung Karno’s exile house.

This page is the Waerebo & Nuca Molas package: cultural trekking to Waerebo, overnight in Mbaru Niang, then a coastal day at Nuca Molas after you descend.
